THE WAY OF THE VICTORIOUS
Scripture for Today: 1Jn 5:4-5 (KJV)
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Word for Today
We are living in a time the Holy Bible refers to as the last days. The challenges of this time seem overwhelming; everything is on the fast lane. The changes that are taking place pose a lot of challenges to families, peoples, and nations. For God’s children to survive the battles and troubles of this time and live victoriously, they need to have faith in the Faithful Lord. The prophetic insight we received for this year revealed that people shall experience difficulties in a higher dimension never seen before. All over the world, people are losing their jobs; the cost of living has become a nightmare to many people and families, and to worsen the already bad situation, the fear of another world war and terrorism takes its toll on the minds of the weak.

Today’s Scripture tells us that whosoever is born of God will overcome this world and the forces of darkness working tenaciously to destroy faith in God and humanity. Also, according to the passage, the victory that will win and overcome the battles of this time is our faith. Absolute and implicit faith in the Lord is the only source of victory and weapon you need to overcome as a child of God. Faith will make you rise from the pit of defeat, discouragement, and depression. It will shake you up from your slumber and make you rise from the ashes of fear, failure, and frustration to take back control of your life and glory.

Beloved, David and his army rose from the pit and by prayer and faith, recovered their families and wealth from the invading robbers who kidnapped them. Daniel and his three friends, by their faith and separation from the king’s food and wines, excelled in their training and became prominent ministers in Babylon. Ruth, the compassionate daughter-in-law of Naomi, by her uncommon faith, consecration, and submission to the God of Israel, secured a glorious marriage. Fearless Esther was an orphan who, by her faith and dependence on God, turned the table against Haman, the enemy of the Jews, changed the political climate, and established the Jews in the country. Finally, David was still a young man when he challenged Goliath, the Philistine giant and war commander by absolute faith and trust in God and became a hero. All these people stated above believed in God, trusted in His power to save them, and by fasting and prayer, did exploits. This is the time and opportunity to follow the examples of the champions of faith by showing absolute faith in God in order to turn the tide against the enemies and win your battles in this world.

Decision: I shall not accept defeat or give in to discouragement.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, clothe me with the spirit of grace and faith.

Declaration: Receive God’s grace and faith for exploit.

God bless you.
