SIGNS OF CHOSEN VESSELS(Inspiration for Today)Saturday, March 29, 2025. Scripture for Today:Hebrews 11:23-25 (KJV) 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months from his parents because they saw he was a proper child, and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment._ _24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;_ _25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;_ Word for Today Sometimes we crave the success and glory God bestowed on another chosen vessel without considering the processes that led to them. The mantle of Moses did not come by chance or coincidence; rather, it is the result of faith reposed in God and the various challenges God permitted to shape his life to prepare him as a chosen vessel for divine assignment. A careful examination of the Holy Scriptures and the foundation laid by Moses’ parents, especially his mother, reveals that Moses’ life, training, and mantle were the work of many years of obedience and faithfulness to God. His birth was at the time the Israelites were experiencing great persecution, affliction, and painful suffering in Egypt. By divine providence and orchestration, his upbringing was in Pharaoh’s palace, the king who decreed the oppression and suffering his people were passing through. It is important to state that Moses was educated and trained to become a master in the mysteries, occult arts, and wisdom of Egypt. These laid the foundation for the battles he fought later in his life. The challenges and experiences of Moses reveal the characteristics, trends, and patterns common with those chosen for great exploits like Elijah, Samson, John the Baptist, and our Lord Jesus Christ. The following phenomenal experiences are common with the chosen ones of God; they are indications that you are one of them (Phil. 2:5-8). 1. Some chosen vessels are prophetically announced by angels or men. 2. They are products of divine spiritual transactions and intervention in the affairs of men, for the deliverance and redemption of God’s faithfuls. 3. They suffer great afflictions, strange spiritual battles, and experiences. 4. They endure rejection and humiliation in their families and by other people. 5. They are selfless, dedicated, and passionate to their purpose, yet lonely. 6. They are trained through the challenges God allows in their lives (Heb. 2:10, 18; 5:7-8). 7. They have spiritual encounters with God and operate rare spiritual gifts. Beloved, the chosen vessels of God are still among the children of men. If you can trace the above experiences in your life, they show that you are among the chosen vessels on earth. Therefore, do not think that your battles and experiences are strange or that God abandoned you. Rather, He is preparing you for your great assignment. Decision: I shall submit myself to God’s wisdom and purpose for my life. Prayer: Dear Lord, guide me to bear my cross and fulfill your purpose on earth. Declaration:* Receive God’s grace to function and fulfill your divine purpose. God bless you. Pastor Alex Obioha.
